Commuter Solutions
A program of enterpriseSeattle, Commuter Solutions fosters public/private partnership to improve regional mobility, protect the environment, and support economic growth in the Puget Sound region.
As a nonprofit organization, Commuter Solutions works with local program partners to:
- Provide information, technical assistance, and incentives to employers and employees to help reduce the number of vehicles on our roads;
- Develop and implement innovative programs to encourage changes in individual commute behavior;
- Propose and support policies that offer real solutions to transportation problems and make good business sense.
Washington Clean Tech Alliance
The WCTA was founded in 2007 by a partnership of McKinstry, Mithun, Prosperity Partnership, Puget Sound Energy, E3Energy Partners, Battelle—Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Washington’s Department of Commerce, enterpriseSeattle, Port of Bremerton, Garvey Schubert Barer, and the City of Seattle. Its membership has since grown to include leaders in the field, including University of Washington, Washington State University, 3Tier Environmental, Stoel Rives, Grays Harbor Paper, Thomas James International, Jon Kroman Law Offices, Eco-Tec, EcoFAB, Greater Spokane, and others.
Cascadia Region Green Building Council
The Cascadia Green Building Council is the leading resource for green building in the Puget Sound Region. One of the three original chapters of the national Green Building Council, the organization provides continuing education and networking opportunities to its members and industry professionals, and advocates for sustainable development in the region.
Built Green
Built Green is a program of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties that works to promote green building practices and educate both home owners and home builders on how to incorporate these practices into their construction projects.
Northwest Biodiesel Network
This all-volunteer group works to educate people on the benefits of biodiesel, promote its use, and foster networking opportunities for people involved in all aspects of biodiesel, from producers to distributors to consumers.
