Water
Seattle Public Utilities provides water to approximately 1.4 million people in the Seattle metro area. More than 14,000 public and private systems supply the rest of the county’s water supply (including single family wells). The majority of the water in the area comes from two watersheds: the Tolt River and the Cedar River.
