Using a case study approach, participants will explore how other companies and facilities have managed their operations under the NPDES Industrial Stormwater General Permit, or other permits with similar requirements. Participants will learn from real world examples of how source control, best management practices, sampling programs, structural controls, and treatment technologies have helped permittees achieve compliance. Materials, lunch, refreshments and beverages provided.
This course builds on previous ECOSS workshops with some overlap on the Industrial Permit and sampling protocol. Beginners new to the field as well as more studied permit managers will benefit from attending this important workshop.
